Spicy Steak Lettuce Wraps
Packed full of protein and flavor, these sweet ‘n’ spicy, low-carb street “tacos” are quick and easy to make. Whether you whip them up as hors d’euvres or a meal all by themselves, these metabolic finger foods are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 4 tablespoons coconut aminos
- 2 green onions, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 3 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 1/2 pound skirt steak, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 head lettuce, broken into large leaves
Instructions
1) In a large skillet over medium heat, warm oil. Add steak pieces and cook for 1 minute on each side.
2) Add garlic, diced onion, and bell pepper, sauté for 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
3) Add sriracha, coconut aminos, and green onion. Stir to combine the sauce with the meat and cook for 2 minutes.
4) Arrange the lettuce cups between plates, spoon beef mixture into cups and serve.
