How Eating “Bad” Foods NOW Can Actually Boost Your Immune System LATER
Hey, what’s up? It’s Dr. Jade Teta here…
In the previous lesson we talked about trigger foods — foods that drive you to eat more calories than you need.
Today, I want to talk about the opposite side of the coin — buffer foods.
These are foods that help you make better, more healthy choices in the future.
But get this: buffer foods are NOT always “healthy.”
For example, I know that if I drink a glass of red wine with dinner, it’s going to make me feel more satiated. And I’m less likely to want a really sugary dessert. But for someone else, red wine might make them go crazy for chocolate and sweets.
It’s all about understanding YOUR body.
Again, buffer foods and trigger foods are some of the most important tools in your Metabolic Detective toolkit… and on your path to getting a super-buff immune system.
That’s because these foods are KEY to helping you control calories.
Remember, you want to maintain an ideal calorie balance for your body — where you’re not eating too much or too little.
That way, your metabolism is NOT in a state of stress… and it can continue fueling your immune system consistently and effectively.
So, how do you figure out your buffer foods? I’ll walk you through it in the video lecture below.
Remember, the most EFFECTIVE thing you can do to boost immunity is to strengthen your metabolism, because your metabolism POWERS your immune system.
And finding the ideal calorie balance for YOUR body… that matches your lifestyle and preferences… is key to long-term health.
